The RENATO MASTER HOROLOGE MOSTRO MKII blends traditional Swiss watchmaking techniques with bold, avant-garde design and innovative materials and finishing.
The watch’s unique, hexagon-shaped case features a notched bezel that anchors a genuine sapphire crystal and frames an expertly crafted, multi-layered dial. The dial is highlighted by a big date at 1 o’clock and a clever retrograde day indication: a small hand points to the days of the week, inscribed on lines radiating from the center of the sub-dial at 12 o’clock, and reliably snaps back to Monday after reaching midnight Sunday. The lower half of the dial showcases a small seconds sub-dial at 6 o’clock and two diamond accents on either side.
The Mostro MKII boasts a registered design and is powered by a Swiss-made quartz movement. The stately case, in 316L stainless steel, boasts a screw-down crown, which aids in the watch’s impressive 300-meter water-resistance. The Swiss-developed PVD plating on the case represents the highest-grade finishing techniques possible. The strap, made of matte-black NBR rubber, is custom-tooled to fit the case; the buckle is a single-deployment clasp that enables the wearer to hide the tongue of the strap underneath. Each timepiece is offered in a numbered, limited edition and available in a variety of PVD finishes.
